Patrick Ourceau was born in Paris and moved to New
York about ten years ago. He is recognized as one of the leading fiddle
players in the Clare and East Galway style. Since moving to the USA he
has performed with, among others, James Keane, John Williams and Celtic
Thunder. In 1999 he joined the Tulla Ceili Band for their US tour. More
recently he has formed a critically acclaimed duo with the Clare concertina
player Gearoid o’hAllmhurain.
